Menck Windows, located in Chicopee, MA, has an exciting opportunity for a CNC Machine Programmer who will be an integral part of our team as we build the business from the ground up.
About the Position
The CNC Machine Programmer will primarily be responsible for:
Programming of Weinig Conturex and Holzher Promaster CNC machines
Data input and management of 3E Look database
Writing and/or modifying existing programs to enhance efficiency
Checking and monitoring system for accuracy
The ideal candidate will possess:
Strong experience with G-code and database management
The ability to read blueprints and be proficient with AutoCAD 2D
Proficient in AlphaCam software
The ability to determine reference points, machine cutting paths and hole locations and compute angular and linear dimensions, radii and curvatures
The ability to use and read measurement tools, as well as an ability to set-up tools using dial indicator and gage blocks
The ability to compare original part specs and blue prints with first run parts to ensure part quality
Familiarity with Weinig equipment, 3E Look software, Weinig's Nexus & NC Hops software
Experience with wood is a must; window and door experience is a plus
A willingness to travel occasionally for job training and to interface with German partners
