Menck Windows, located in Chicopee, MA, has an exciting opportunity for an Inside Salesperson / Estimator who will be an integral part of our team as we build the business from the ground up.
About the Position
The Inside Salesperson / Estimator will primarily be responsible for:
Providing project takeoff and pricing functions to support Outside Sales
Fielding sales calls in office; qualifying, and then distributing leads
Using market lead data to find project bid opportunities; organizing and distributing qualified leads
Working on new pricing modules with 3E Look software and supporting price programs
Potentially assuming management responsibility for Inside Sales and Estimating Team, once established
The ideal candidate will possess:
Excellent communication, phone, and people skills, and a comfort level with calling architects and builders with questions
The ability to read blueprints for takeoff purposes
Superior organizational skills, a mind for details and the ability to be proactive and follow through
The ability to perform consistently in a deadline driven environment, handling multiple projects with different time constraints on each
Knowledge of windows and doors
A consultative/service mindset
The ability to train, mentor and perhaps manage others
A willingness to travel occasionally to jobsites for sales support functions, jobsite measurement, and site meetings when necessary
